These are not really the same kind of product, which is why most comparisons of them are useless. Collabstr is a storefront where creators list themselves at fixed prices. Tokfluence is an index of 15 million creators, most of whom have never listed anywhere. The right answer depends almost entirely on how much you spend.
Collabstr's fees and plan prices were read from their own site in September 2026; ours are on our pricing page. The complaints referenced come from public reviews, weighted towards the ones several reviewers raise independently.
We build one of the two products on this page. The crossover table below is arithmetic rather than opinion, so check it yourself against your own spend.
This is the part nobody publishes, and it decides the question more cleanly than any feature list. Collabstr's cost scales with your spend. Ours does not.
| Monthly creator spend | Collabstr fee at 10% | Tokfluence | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| $300 | $30 | $99 | Collabstr |
| $500 | $50 | $99 | Collabstr |
| $1,000 | $100 | $99 | Line ball |
| $2,000 | $200 | $99 | Tokfluence |
| $3,000 | $300 | $99 | Tokfluence |
| $10,000 | $1,000 | $99 | Tokfluence |
The crossover sits at roughly $1,000 of bookings a month. Below that, paying commission on what you actually spend is the better deal and no subscription beats it. Above it, the fee keeps climbing while a flat fee does not.
Collabstr's Premium plan at $399 a month cuts the fee to 5%, which only pays for itself above roughly $8,000 of monthly bookings. Worth checking against your own numbers before upgrading.

Price is the argument people run first. This one matters more over time.
A marketplace can only offer you creators who signed up to it. That is a self-selected group, skewed towards people actively looking for brand work, which is useful when you want someone who will definitely reply and limiting when you want someone specific. If the creator you saw on your feed last week never listed themselves, there is no version of the marketplace that finds them.
An index works the other way. We crawl the platform, so a creator is findable whether or not they have ever heard of us. That includes the 15.2 million nano and micro creators in our index, 92% of the database, which is where most campaign budgets are actually spent.
It also means more work. Nobody has pre-agreed to anything, there is no price on the screen, and you have to do outreach. That is a genuine cost of the model and worth being clear about.

Read the losing rows as carefully as the winning ones. Three of them are decisive if you buy content occasionally.

If you need five TikToks by Friday and have never run a creator campaign, open Collabstr. It will be faster and cheaper than anything we could offer you, and pretending otherwise would be silly.
The moment that changes is when the commission stops being a rounding error or when the person you actually want is not on the list. That is usually somewhere north of $1,000 a month, and at that point $99 flat with 15 million creators behind it is the better tool by a distance. Plenty of brands run both, and that is a perfectly sensible answer too.
Below roughly $1,000 of creator bookings a month, Collabstr. Above it, Tokfluence, and the gap widens from there. Collabstr costs 10% of whatever you spend; ours is $99 regardless. At $3,000 of bookings that is $300 against $99, and at $10,000 it is $1,000 against $99.
Collabstr is a marketplace: creators list themselves with fixed prices and you book them. Tokfluence is a search index: we crawl the platform and you find creators whether or not they have ever heard of us. One is a storefront, the other is a database, and they suit different jobs rather than competing directly.
Only partly. Anyone listed on Collabstr can also be found in our index if they meet the follower threshold, but the reverse is not true: the overwhelming majority of creators have never listed on any marketplace. If you have someone specific in mind, a marketplace only helps if they happened to sign up.
No. What you pay creators is between you and them, and we take none of it. The $99 covers unlimited search, unlimited profile views and 10,000 verified email reveals a month. There is no per-booking fee at any volume.
For a handful of UGC videos with no ongoing relationship, Collabstr is faster and probably cheaper. Prices are on the screen, the creator has already agreed to work with brands, and you pay nothing until you order. Use it. Switch when you are booking regularly or when the creators you want are not listed.
