How to Find TikTok Shop Creators Who Already Sell
TikTok Shop's Affiliate Center shows who already sells. It misses creators who fit your niche but never joined. Here is how to find both, and what to pay them.
TL;DR
- Start in TikTok Shop's own Affiliate Center. Its Find creators tool is free for sellers and shows each creator's revenue and units sold over the last 30 days, which no outside tool can see.
- Its limit is who it shows. It lists TikTok Shop creators, ranked by TikTok, and only shows full metrics for creators who authorized their data. Creators who fit your niche but have never sold on TikTok Shop are not in it.
- Few creators promote TikTok Shop, and they cluster in the middle. In our index, 1.6% of creators with 50,000 to 250,000 followers use #tiktokshop, against 0.3% of nano creators. US creators are four times more likely to use it than the index as a whole.
- Commission is set by you, from 1% to 80%. Guides from TikTok Shop agencies put open collaborations around 10% to 15% and targeted deals around 15% to 25%, with beauty and supplements paying the most.
- Tokfluence fills the gap. Its TikTok Shop filter finds creators who already promote TikTok Shop products, across niches and countries, with contact details where creators publish them.
If you sell on TikTok Shop, the creators you want are the ones who already film products for people to buy. They know how to show a product in the first three seconds, they know how the yellow basket works, and their audience is used to buying from them.
This guide covers the two places to find them: TikTok Shop's own Affiliate Center, which every seller should use first, and an independent creator index like Tokfluence for the creators the Affiliate Center does not surface. It also covers what to pay them, with sources, and when the native tool is all you need.
What is a TikTok Shop creator?
A TikTok Shop creator is a TikTok account with e-commerce permissions that earns a commission when viewers buy a product through their videos, LIVEs or showcase. In TikTok's terms, most of them are affiliate creators: they promote other sellers' products and get paid a share of each sale.
In the US, TikTok's own rules for affiliate creators are short. You must be at least 18, based in the United States, and have at least 1,000 followers. Accounts promoting other sellers' products through the product marketplace from a marketing account need at least 5,000 followers (TikTok Shop Academy, What You Need to Know Before Becoming a TikTok Shop Creator, updated October 2026).
That bar is low, and it matters for brands. Almost any US creator in your niche with 1,000+ followers can join TikTok Shop, so the creators already selling there are only part of the pool you could recruit.
How do you find creators in the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center?
Log in to TikTok Shop Seller Center, open Affiliate Center, and go to Find creators under Discover creators in the left menu (TikTok Shop Academy, How to use Find Creators, updated February 2026). From there:
- Search or browse recommendations. TikTok recommends creators based on what they have promoted before, what their followers bought or viewed, and whether their audience matches your customers (TikTok, About target collaborations in Seller Center).
- Filter and compare. Each creator card shows a sample video, revenue and units sold from LIVE, shoppable video or showcase over the last 30 days, average video views and engagement rate.
- Open a creator's details. The details page charts GMV, units sold, followers, video views and engagement rate over time, for creators who have authorized their data to be shown.
- Invite them. Send a target collaboration to the creators you pick, or add them to Manage Creators to contact later.
Alongside Find creators, there are two ways to set up the deal (TikTok Shop Academy, Setting Up Affiliate Collaborations, updated July 2026):
| Open collaboration | Target collaboration | |
|---|---|---|
| Who sees it | All TikTok Shop creators | Only the creators you invite |
| Best for | Letting any creator pick up your product | Creators you have chosen and want to pay more |
| Commission | You set one rate, 1% to 80% | You set a rate per creator, 1% to 80% |
| Free samples | Supported | Supported |
| If both apply | The target rate always wins |
Each product can sit in several collaborations at once, but a creator is only ever paid one commission rate per product.
When is the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center enough?
For a lot of sellers, it is. Use it on its own when:
- You want proven sellers. Revenue and units sold come from TikTok itself. If your question is "who already moves products like mine", that first-party sales data is the best answer available, and we cannot match it.
- You are happy with open collaboration. Setting a fair open rate and approving sample requests can bring in creators with almost no outreach.
- Your category is well covered. Beauty, fashion and home goods have deep creator supply on TikTok Shop. Recommendations alone may fill your pipeline.
- You run everything inside TikTok. Commission, samples and payouts are handled by the platform.
Honestly, if all four describe you, you may not need another tool yet.
What does the Affiliate Center not show you?
Its limits come from what it is: a sales tool for TikTok Shop, built around TikTok Shop creators.
- Creators who have never sold on TikTok Shop. A creator in your exact niche with a loyal audience is invisible to Find creators until they join TikTok Shop. Many of the best fits for a new product have never been asked.
- Ranking you do not control. Recommendations are TikTok's, and you see the creators TikTok surfaces. TikTok's help pages describe filters for category, audience and performance, not search by the hashtags a creator uses or the brands they mention.
- Partial data. Full creator metrics only appear for creators who authorized their data to be shown.
- Outreach stays inside TikTok. Invitations go through Seller Center. If you want to email a creator about a longer deal, gifting or content for your own ads, the Affiliate Center is not built for that.
None of this makes it a bad tool. It makes it a marketplace of TikTok Shop sellers, not a map of every creator who could sell for you.
How many TikTok creators actually promote TikTok Shop?
Fewer than you might expect, and not the ones you might expect. We counted creators in our index who use the #tiktokshop hashtag in their posts, by follower tier:
| Follower tier | Share of creators using #tiktokshop | At least, on TikTok |
|---|---|---|
| Nano (1,000 to 9,999) | 0.3% | about 38,000 |
| Micro (10,000 to 49,999) | 1.2% | about 29,000 |
| Mid-tier (50,000 to 249,999) | 1.6% | about 16,000 |
| Macro and mega (250,000+) | 0.8% | about 2,700 |
| All creators with 1,000+ followers | 0.5% | about 83,000 |
Measured: Tokfluence creator index, queried 16 October 2026, all creators in our index with 1,000+ followers. "At least" applies each share to the matching tier count in our index on 8 September 2026 (0.3% x 12.8M nano = 38,000; 1.2% x 2.43M micro = 29,000; 1.6% x 997,000 mid-tier = 16,000; 0.8% x 341,000 macro and mega = 2,700; 0.5% x 16.6M = 83,000). It is a floor, not a census: TikTok has more accounts than we have crawled. Shares are rounded, so the tiers do not add up exactly to the total. Against TikTok's 1.59 billion ad reach these round to zero, which is the point: very few accounts promote TikTok Shop by hashtag.
Two things stand out:
- TikTok Shop is a mid-tier game. A creator with 50,000 to 250,000 followers is about five times as likely to tag TikTok Shop as a nano creator. That band is big enough to sell and small enough to book. Our creator rates by tier shows what each tier typically charges for a flat-fee post.
- It skews heavily to the US. Among creators whose country we hold as the US, 2.2% use #tiktokshop, four times the index-wide rate. More than half of all #tiktokshop creators in our index are US-based, though US creators are about 13% of the index. Applied to the 16.6 million creators in our index, that is at least 2.2 million US creators on TikTok, again a floor.
The caveat: a hashtag is not a sale. Some of these creators posted one TikTok Shop video and moved on, and some sell their own products. And creators who promote TikTok Shop without the hashtag are missing from this count, so read it as a lower bound.
How do you find TikTok Shop creators with Tokfluence?
Tokfluence is an independent index of public TikTok creators. You search it by plain-language description, keyword, follower range, engagement, region, hashtags and the brands a creator mentions, and it now has a TikTok Shop filter. We are not affiliated with TikTok; the data comes from public profiles.
The TikTok Shop filter in Creator Search: "Uses TikTok Shop hashtags or mentions TikTok Shop in their bio. Not a sales figure."
- Describe the creator. Type the brief in plain words, for example "fitness creators in the US". Tokfluence turns it into filters and detects the country.
- Add the TikTok Shop filter. Tick Promotes TikTok Shop to keep only creators who use TikTok Shop hashtags or mention TikTok Shop in their bio. Matching creators also carry a Promotes TikTok Shop badge on their card, so you can spot them without the filter.
- Narrow by size and engagement. Set a follower range (the mid-tier band above is a good starting point) and a minimum engagement rate. Add a region, or several at once if you sell in more than one market.
- Check contact details. Tokfluence shows a creator's email where they publish one in their profile, and the Contact filter keeps only creators with an email on file.
- Save and export. Add the shortlist to a list, export it to CSV, and invite the creators to a target collaboration in Seller Center or email them directly.
A search for US fitness creators: the third creator carries the Promotes TikTok Shop badge.
The filter has a second use. Run the same search without it, and you get creators who fit your niche but have never promoted TikTok Shop. Any of them with 1,000+ followers in the US can apply to become an affiliate creator, and an early, well-paid offer is how you get them before your competitors do.
If your niche is thin, the Tokfluence MCP server lets an AI assistant start a live crawl of TikTok from the chat. It costs 250 credits, and the new creators become searchable a few hours later (MCP docs). In the app, Ultra Search does the same from a one-sentence brief. No other tool in this guide fills gaps in its own data on request.
The honest limit on our side: we see what creators post, not what they sell. The TikTok Shop filter tells you a creator promotes TikTok Shop, not how much they earn from it. For that, check their creator details in the Affiliate Center before you agree a rate.
What commission should you offer TikTok Shop creators?
You set it, anywhere from 1% to 80% of the sale, and a target collaboration rate always overrides your open rate (TikTok Shop Academy). TikTok publishes the range, not a typical rate. Typical rates come from TikTok Shop agencies and tools, which publish them without a method, so treat these as a starting point for negotiation:
| Category | MADA, "commonly reported range" | DAMI, "typical base range" |
|---|---|---|
| Beauty and skincare | 15% to 30% | 18% to 25% |
| Supplements and wellness | 18% to 20% | 15% to 25% |
| Home | ~15% | 10% to 16% |
| Fashion and apparel | 10% to 15% | 12% to 20% |
| Food and beverage | 10% to 20% | 12% to 20% |
| Electronics | 5% to 10% | 5% to 12% |
Sources: MADA, TikTok Shop commission rates, updated October 2026; DAMI, US TikTok Shop affiliate commission benchmarks, October 2026. Neither publishes its methodology.
MADA also puts open collaborations at "around 10% to 15%" and target collaborations at "commonly 15% to 25%, higher for proven performers". The two sources agree on the shape: high-margin consumables pay the most, thin-margin electronics the least.
Three practical rules:
- Pay more in target than in open. Otherwise the creators you hand-picked have no reason to prefer your invite.
- Offer free samples. Both collaboration types support them, and a creator who has used the product makes a better video.
- Add a flat fee for creators who do not sell yet. Commission alone rarely persuades a creator without a TikTok Shop track record. A small fixed fee plus commission does.

Affiliate Center or Tokfluence: which should you use?
They answer different questions, so most sellers use both.
| Tokfluence | TikTok Shop Affiliate Center | |
|---|---|---|
| Who is in it | Public TikTok creators with 1,000+ followers that we have indexed, whether or not they sell on TikTok Shop | TikTok Shop creators |
| Sales data | None. The TikTok Shop filter flags who promotes it, not sales | Revenue and units sold, first-party |
| Search | Plain-language search, hashtags, mentions, followers, engagement, several regions at once | TikTok recommendations, search and basic filters |
| Contact | Emails where creators publish them; CSV export | Invitations inside Seller Center |
| Commission and payouts | Not included; you set up the deal in Seller Center | Built in |
| Niche not covered? | Live crawl on demand via the MCP server or Ultra Search | Wait for creators to join |
| Cost | From $99 a month for 10,000 creator profiles | Free for sellers; you pay commission on sales |
Add Tokfluence when the Affiliate Center keeps showing you the same creators, your niche is narrow, you want creators who have not been pitched by every other seller yet, or you want to email creators about longer deals. Build the shortlist in Tokfluence, check sellers' numbers in the Affiliate Center, then send target collaborations.
Use only the Affiliate Center when you want creators with a proven sales record, your category is well served, and open collaboration is already bringing creators in.
If you also run TikTok ads, TikTok's separate Creator Marketplace, now part of TikTok One, is the place for paid brand deals and Spark Ads. It is a different tool from the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center.
What does Tokfluence cost?
One credit is one creator profile. Plans are priced by how many profiles you pull a month:
| Plan | Price | What you get | Cost per 1,000 profiles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $99 a month | 10,000 credits, 20,000 searches, 3 Ultra Searches | $99 / 10 = $9.90 |
| Agency | $199 a month | 20,000 credits shared with the API and MCP, unlimited searches, 15 Ultra Searches | $199 / 20 = $9.95 |
| Discovery Service | $499 a month | 100,000 credits, and our team runs the searches and hand-filters the list | $499 / 100 = $4.99 |
There is a free plan with no card; you add a card only at checkout. MCP access comes with the free plan (50 credits a month), Agency and above; a live crawl costs 250 credits. Source: tokfluence.com/pricing, read October 2026.
